criminals have more rights than innocent people.
Someone breaks into your yous and you HAVE TO WAIT till they try and kill you to defend yourself and others AND YOUR PROPERTY using force???
Anyone who creates a crime inside a dwelling that is not theirs should be met with whatever force the owner deems necessary.
Criminals would think twice if they know they can be shot legally if they enter someone else’s domain without permission.
ESPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!!

It is obvious that the two men had total disregard for the homeowners property, so there was a great possibility that they would have had no regard for the Homeowners life as well. He had every justification to use whatever force necessary to protect his home and the lives of those therein.
