According to The Sun, a confrontation began when an individual challenged Mayweather about his stance, prompting him to reaffirm his position. The situation allegedly escalated when “someone took a swing” at the boxing icon.

An eyewitness quoted by The Sun claimed, “Floyd took a few hits during it, but his security was trying to push people back.” Despite these reports, Mayweather has firmly denied any physical altercation occurred.

Addressing the incident on Instagram, Mayweather sought to clarify the situation.
“Let me set the record straight…there’s no truth to the rumors going around. I wasn’t punched or touched in any way. What you’re seeing is just my security doing their job to keep things under control,” Mayweather stated. He further explained his brief visit to the UK was marred by “jealousy and negativity” that fueled false stories.
