Fired Vegas Worker’s Rampage Ends in Armed Resident’s Heroic Action

A shocking incident unfolded recently in Las Vegas, Nevada, when a recently dismissed construction worker wreaked havoc in a residential neighbourhood. Not only did he repeatedly ram his vehicle into his employer, but his rampage did not stop there. According to eye-witnesses, he showed no preference for his targets. This escalation of violence ultimately led to his death, at the hands of an armed resident.

This horrifying chain of events was recorded on a security camera, providing a chilling look at the man’s actions. As one witness noted, “He didn’t care who he was coming after.”

Details of the incident were provided by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. According to their report, officers received calls about a male being struck by a vehicle around 6:30 p.m. on a Thursday evening. Speaking to the media, LVMPD Homicide Lieutenant Jason Johansson divulged that the suspect had been fired from a construction job earlier that day, setting the stage for the terrifying incident that followed.

“The male who was struck by the car was conducting remodeling of a house at the 900 block of Dover Place. The person who was driving the SUV worked for him and, from what we’re being told, showed up to work in a condition where he was unfit to do his job and was fired,” said Johansson.

The scene captured on video was as shocking as the report suggested. The disgruntled former employee, driving a black SUV, chased his employer and drove recklessly, finally accelerating backward into him, thrusting him into a wall.

“He was attempting to hit him while driving east and westbound, both in forward and reverse,” said Johansson.

What followed next was a disturbing extension of the man’s rage. Steven Bowman, a local resident, reported to KLAS-TV that after running over his employer, the man in the black SUV started targeting other individuals. Bowman recalled, “I heard somebody say, ‘He’s coming back,’ and I couldn’t move.”

Ana Tilley, another neighbor, witnessed the incident and asked her 27-year-old grandson to fetch her shotgun. “The guy wouldn’t stop,” Tilley remembered. “I said, ‘Throw me the gun.’ No. He raised the gun, and I thought, ‘Oh my god! Oh my god!’”

Video footage showed Tilley’s grandson firing the shotgun repeatedly into the vehicle, bringing the attack to an abrupt end. By the time the police arrived, the man was already dead.

Although Steven Bowman was injured in the leg from the debris, he was discharged from the hospital after a few hours. The employer, who suffered “major” but non-life-threatening injuries, was also hospitalized.

Bowman, still in shock from the incident, commented, “It happened so fast, you don’t understand it happened so fast.”

Lieutenant Johansson verified that the video footage corroborated the witnesses’ accounts. “The entire incident is captured on video and corroborates the accounts provided by the witnesses,” Johansson added.

Following the incident, Tilley’s grandson cooperated with the police, was taken into custody, and later released on Friday.

Usually they change the gun description to the AR-15! I guess with this video, it was pretty obvious it wasn’t the Democrat’s hated scary-looking rifle.
Kudos to the quick thinking Patriot! He saved innocent lives.
