In an alarming incident, a family of five was reportedly subjected to over an hour of torture by a group of home invaders in Spout Springs, North Carolina, leading to a wave of shock and fear throughout the neighborhood. This traumatic event was confirmed by the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office in a recent press release.

The victims, who include a father, mother, their daughter, and the daughter’s friend, were in their garage when the invaders struck around 2 a.m. on June 15. A fifth victim was also included, though their identity remains undisclosed.

“The victims were forced into the residence where they were assaulted,” the Sheriff’s Office stated.

The group of assailants, believed to be up to six men, restrained their victims using duct tape before proceeding to torture them with heated metal, as per the police report.

Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats described the chilling ordeal: “They put a knife and fork on top of the stove and heated it up and they just started sticking it to the body. They were trying to get them to tell them where their money and guns were.”

The injured victims, including the father, mother, and daughter, received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at UNC-Chapel Hill.

In addition to the brutal assault, the invaders also made off with personal belongings and two cars belonging to the family. The vehicles were described as a gray or silver Dodge Challenger with black rims.

A GoFundMe account has now been established by the family to help cover healthcare expenses and replace the stolen items.

The incident has had a ripple effect in the local community. Neighbor Jeffery Miller expressed how the event has instilled fear amongst residents.

“Yesterday I had security installed,” he shared. “I thought I was the security, but now I need to have a camera.”

Hoping to expedite the identification and capture of the culprits, police are urging the public for assistance.

“Due to the violent nature of this incident we ask that you please share this information,” the police requested.

Situated in the heart of North Carolina, Harnett County is home to approximately 141k residents, many of whom are now grappling with the after-effects of this horrifying event.

Whoever voted for stricter gun control is an idiot! Do you really think this would keep criminals from aquiring firearms? They don’t get them legally! Was a firearm even mentioned? NO! PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS!

Absolutely right! Criminals, by definition, do not obey laws! “Gun control” only laves the law-abiding sitizens helpless to criminal activity.

An armed society makes for a polite society. It’s a common fact that criminals commit zero crimes after 2 in the chest 1 in the head. Y’all better wake up this is happening all over.

It’s high time for everyone to start concealed carrying of a firearm. You may only have seconds to defend yourself and your family. Call it paranoia for all I care. Your opinion doesn’t matter when it comes to the safety of my family and me.

NC’s gun ownership and use laws probably assisted the thugs actions.

Carry all the time and shoot to kill.

Paul is right. Taking guns away from citizens is moronic.
