Vape Shop Employee Defies Armed Robbers in Daring Texas Face-Off
A tense incident involving armed robbers and a bold vape shop employee unfolded this past weekend in San Antonio, Texas. Two male suspects, wielding guns, allegedly stormed into Vape City on FM 78 at Foster Road, near Rittiman Road, with intentions of forcibly claiming store merchandise for themselves.
However, they were met with resistance. Reports from KENS-TV reveal that the police arrived at the scene around 10:35 p.m. following reports of an aggravated robbery and potential shooting.
“On arrival, they were informed that two males armed with guns attempted to remove items from the store. However, one of the employees chased them outside, leading to a struggle,” the station reported.
The altercation escalated when one suspect pulled out a firearm and discharged it. Authorities believe the assailants made their escape on foot after the gun was fired.
“Police are yet to establish if the shot was fired towards the employee or into the air. The building was not damaged by the gunfire and no one was injured,” KENS-TV added. The police assured that the investigation will continue.
In a separate incident involving a Vape City outlet on Southwest Military Drive near I-35, a male suspect reportedly demanded money and merchandise from the store while holding the employees at gunpoint. He fled the scene once the employee handed over the cash, as reported by WOAI-TV.
Security footage from the robbery helped identify the getaway vehicle. The brave vape shop employee identified the suspect, Theodore Sanchez Jr., 48, from a photo lineup. Sanchez was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, with bail set at $100,000, as per the information provided by WOAI-TV.
In yet another robbery, a male suspect entered Carter’s Smoke and Vape shop located near the 500 block of South Zarzamora. He allegedly threatened an employee with a gun and fled the scene with multiple stolen items. Police reviewed surveillance footage and collected fingerprints from the scene, leading to the identification of the suspect.

I work in a beer outlet. My boss has told me in the event of a robbery to give them the money. Money is not worth dying for, especially someone elses money, not mine. Im a licensed concealed carry permit holder and i carry all day every day.As long as im not threatened with harm they can have the money.
